More than a wish by Lucía Díaz Martínez, 1º BACH B

Nuestra alumna Lucía Díaz Martínez ha hecho un vídeo con el poema que compuso para el Día de la Paz y lo queremos compartir con todos vosotros.

        Aquí tenéis el poema escrito:

More than a wish -a lesson by nature

Only when we let our purest love fly 

Can our society truly become kind 

Since, as our today honoured Gandhi proclaimed, an eye for 

an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate nature and its gentle autonomy, as nowhere is

 it more charming than in its most diverse mounts, thus, butterflies communities 

beauty resides in them not being all boring plain, and despite being so different, 

not only do all butterflies live together in harmony, but also help each other out, 

so nature’s wisdom we ought to maintain.

Peace is not something you could achieve just by wishing.

Peace can’t be reached by looking aside and thinking that living beings in need are none of your business.

Peace requires commitment and daily caring.

Peace is reached by raising inner and outer tranquillity and forgiveness.

At the end of the day, it is not easy to tell if peace is the calm we need 

or calm the peace we seek.
